Hi, I’m Dan.

A little story for ya. At age 12, I fell in love with bicycles. Such beautifully elegant machines. So simple yet so complicated. The freedom they provide, for me, was an added bonus. The spark was ignited when I watched a local BMX kid ride through a drainage ditch and do a gnarly trick in the air. Whoa, that was wild! I wanted to do that! After convincing my dad to get me a BMX freestyle bike, I spent 6+ hours a day learning flatland tricks.

My obsession eventually developed into a life of competing on a national level while filling the space between with lots of practice and an occasional school or mall show. I had sponsorship contracts with some of the biggest names in the business and it was an incredible journey, as well as, my introduction to the business side of the industry.

During and following this BMX adventure, I started working at bike shops. along with stints as a bicycle manufacturer’s representative as well as owning a couple BMX component and frame companies.

My last project was owning my own bike store on the other side of town. I ran that business for 21 years and closed it late 2024 when I took advantage of a prime opportunity to sell my building (an old two story bank), which made way to start a new life in Avon Lake. These days, I spend just as much time riding my BMX bikes as I do riding urban and ebikes.

After a one year hiatus, I was ready to start fresh with a new perspective. Our focus is on quality bicycle service, and a finely curated collection of fun accessories, premium (but not pricey) recreational ebikes, and traditional bikes for the neighborhood.
